Heodeningas, Hetelinge or Hegelinge of the old German epos, Kudrun (Bartsch’s Edition)], the champions of the mythol. hero Héðinn, Edda 90; whence Hjaðninga-víg, n. the battle of Hedin and his men, supposed to go on for ever; see the tale in Edda 89, 90, and Fb. i. 278–282.
